The Project “LV House” Information:
- Project Name: LV House
- Location: Madrid, Spain
- Designed by: A-cero Architects
A-cero’s Signature Geometry, Reinterpreted for a Madrid Estate
Designed by renowned architects Joaquín Torres và Rafael Llamazares, LV House embodies the distinctive aesthetic that has defined A-cero for decades—bold sculptural forms, sweeping lines, and a harmonious interplay between architecture and landscape. Yet this residence introduces a softer, more classical influence, merging modern minimalism with timeless proportions.

As the architects share: “The ambition for LV House was to create a home that feels both contemporary and enduring—where clean geometry is balanced by warmth, craftsmanship, and a sense of permanence.”

The result is a residence that feels stately yet livable, expressive yet quietly refined.

A Three-Level Composition Shaped Around Light and Function
With approximately 1,000 square meters of interior space, LV House is organized across three floors, each designed for clarity, flow, and comfort.

Entering through the main hall, visitors encounter one of the home’s defining features: a sculptural staircase that threads all levels together. Its presence acts as a vertical spine, drawing light down and visually unifying the home’s interior architecture.

“We wanted the staircase to be more than circulation,” the architects explain. “It becomes an object of art—an anchor for daily life.”

Ground Floor: Public Spaces Framed by Garden Views
The ground level houses the main gathering areas, designed for openness and natural light.
• A generous living room designed for panoramic views of the landscaped grounds
• An elegant dining room seamlessly connected for entertaining
• A fully equipped kitchen using premium materials
• A discreet service area
• Elevator access to all floors

These spaces flow outward to the gardens and the organically shaped swimming pool, reinforcing the indoor–outdoor living experience.

Upper Floor: Private Quarters with Five En-Suite Bedrooms
The top floor is reserved entirely for the family’s private realm. The master suite includes its own bathroom and dressing room, positioned to enjoy the most privileged views of the property. Four additional bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, complete this level.

With careful proportioning and meticulous detailing, the architects aimed to create what they call:
“A private floor that feels serene—almost like a boutique hotel, but deeply personal.”
Basement Level: A Sanctuary of Leisure and Wellness
The basement is designed as a multifunctional leisure space, ideal for gatherings and relaxation:
• A spacious entertainment area
• Indoor swimming pool
• Fully outfitted gym
• Large garage with easy circulation

Natural materials and warm lighting were used to ensure this level remains inviting and integrated with the spirit of the upper floors.
“Our goal was to make the basement feel alive and connected—not hidden away,” the architects note. “Light, texture, and amenities transform it into a true extension of the home.”

A Landscape That Softens and Complements the Architecture
The property sits within a large landscaped garden, where A-cero’s architectural precision meets organic outdoor forms. The swimming pool—with its fluid, sculptural outline—adds a sense of movement that contrasts beautifully with the home’s clean geometry. Pathways, hedges, and curated plantings create a tranquil environment that frames the architecture from every angle.
