Description About The Project

O-asis House, designed by The Ranch Mine, is a solar-powered haven that beautifully merges modern living with the timeless allure of music, sunlight, and desert flora and fauna. Nestled low in the desert landscape at a height of just 12.5 feet, the home is encircled by a rusted steel rattlesnake fence and finished in pristine white stucco accented with recessed wood niches. Its pronounced horizontal design serves as a visual anchor, accentuating the dramatic contours of the surrounding desert.

Departing from the ‘O’ shaped layout, the pool extends outward, inviting you into the desert to take in the stunning mountain views to the South, and is complemented by a built-in fire pit bench. At the heart of the home, a courtyard provides indirect natural light, fresh air, and houses unique plant species. The main living space features pocketing glass doors on either side, allowing cool breezes to flow through and transforming the area into a covered open-air space within moments.

A pool extends from the ‘O’ shaped plan, leading you out into the desert and offering stunning mountain views to the South.

The main living space is equipped with pocketing glass doors on either side, facilitating natural ventilation.
