A Legacy Home Rooted in History and Crafted for Generations
In the coconut-laden heartland of Ben Tre, White Villa by Archiro Vietnam stands as a poetic embodiment of heritage, memory, and timeless architectural elegance. Built on the foundations of a historic family home, this villa is more than a residence—it is a generational heirloom, crafted with reverence and vision to reflect the family’s cultural legacy and deep-rooted ties to Southern Vietnam.
“We approached White Villa not as a new house, but as a continuation of a story already written,” said the lead architect from Archiro Vietnam in an interview with Luxury Houses Magazine. “Our challenge was to respect the past while delivering a home that would endure for the future.”

A Dialogue Between Neoclassical Elegance and French Colonial Charm
Designed in a harmonious blend of Neoclassical and French country styles, White Villa echoes the architectural grace of Cochinchina’s golden era. Its facades—sculpted with eagle reliefs and gray stone moldings—recall the historic refinement of French colonial villas, while its layout and materials adapt effortlessly to the tropical climate and lush greenery of Bến Tre.
“We wanted the architecture to feel nostalgic but also grounded in the present—something that belongs to the land and the people,” noted one of the project’s senior designers.
Surrounded by swaying coconut trees, the home’s exterior exudes understated opulence, while the interiors embrace natural light, cross ventilation, and panoramic garden views. Every room opens outward, ensuring a seamless interaction with the landscape.

Crafted with Global Materials, Built by Local Hands
The material palette is a careful blend of the global and the local. Imported stones, curated lighting, and international finishes are set against the backdrop of masterful local craftsmanship. From intricately carved wooden moldings to precision masonry, every detail reflects the artisans’ pride in their heritage.
“The owners were committed to preserving craftsmanship from the region,” the architect told Luxury Houses Magazine. “Every artisan who worked on this villa contributed not just labor—but legacy.”
The centerpiece of the home is a dramatic circular void that rises through the living room to the first floor, acting as both a visual anchor and a natural ventilation shaft. This open-air atrium allows sunlight to filter through the core of the home, animating its interiors with light and air.

A Triumph of Engineering and Perseverance
Built between 2021 and 2023, the project overcame both environmental and global challenges. The villa’s site—situated on low-lying terrain—demanded innovative structural solutions. Archiro’s team deployed a 38-meter deep bored pile system to stabilize the foundation, ensuring long-term resilience.
“Access was difficult, and the soil conditions were tough,” said the site engineer. “But we believed in the vision—and the family’s story deserved the best foundation we could give.”
The construction phase also coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic and worldwide supply chain disruptions. Despite these hurdles, the project team and homeowners worked with patience and persistence to source materials and complete the villa as envisioned.

A Living Heritage
Inside, White Villa is a graceful tapestry of memory and modernity. Family heirlooms sit comfortably alongside contemporary elements, bridging generations. Wide corridors, tall ceilings, and rooms with dual-aspect windows create a feeling of openness and quiet elegance.
“This home breathes with emotion,” reflected the lead designer. “It’s not just about the architecture—it’s about the people who live here, and those who came before them.”
As light filters through the garden trees and dances across marble floors, White Villa becomes more than architecture—it becomes a story of identity, history, and hope.
