Malabar Contemporary Home in Newport Beach by Brandon Architects

Malabar Contemporary Home is characterized by an impressive level of design and an impressive roof line. The entrance is shaped by a large stone wall that runs from the outside to the inside. When the roof meets the wall, it pulls away allowing natural light to filter down to the texture stone; creating a steady rhythm of the roof from the steel awning that exposed the skylight along the hall. The chain ends at the living space including high ceilings, clerical windows and large pocket doors that pull out and connect the idea kitchen, dining room, and wonderful room with outdoor living.
