Architecture Design of Bull Path House

Description About The Project

The Bull Path House, a creation by BMA Architects, graces East Hampton with its exquisite design, encompass 6,200 square feet on a sprawling two acre plot that slopes gently along its Eastern boundary. Also, the property boasts a lush canopy of mature pine trees, create a serene atmosphere.

An air of magnificence welcomes visitors with expansive walls of suspended stone panels at the entry, not only bestowing a sense of grandeur but also ensure privacy from the street and guest parking areas. Nestled behind these imposing panels lie two interconnected two story volumes, forming an offset ‘T’ arrangement. Beside, an elegant two story glass entry link frames stunning panoramic views through a remarkable 12-foot by 75-foot reflecting and swimming pool, stretching across the property’s length. This layout thoughtfully cradles outdoor spaces while bathing them in sunlight, a true feat on this densely shaded site.

In addition to this, the East/ West wing accommodates an open concept living room, dining area, and kitchen at ground level, while the second floor houses the master suite, capitalize on the scenic vistas. The North/ South wing, column free and innovative, shelters an outdoor living and dining area beneath the children’s bedrooms on the upper level. A remarkable fifty five foot beam, supported by a discreet ‘super column’ concealed within the outdoor bath, upholds this wing’s roof. Completing the above ground composition are a guest suite, home office, and family den.

Overall, the Bull Path House masterfully marries architectural innovation with the tranquil beauty of nature.
