Description About The Project

Upland House, designed by Soloway Designs Architecture + Interiors, is a stunning example of Desert Modern architecture. Characterized by a series of curved roof slabs, geometric stucco walls, and expansive glass surfaces, this residence blends seamlessly with its arid surroundings. The house features angled cantilevered roof segments that float over tall, curved window walls, guiding visitors from the entryway into a massive Great Room illuminated by high clerestory windows.

Created with entertainment in mind, the Great Room includes a Billiards area, Grand Piano, and a Bar that opens to an outdoor seating area. The expansive patio space is perfect for hosting gatherings, with a custom Fire Feature, comfortable lounge seating, and a dining area connected to an outdoor kitchen. The rear patio includes an infinity-edge pool and spa, elevated above a spacious yard ideal for large events.

A wide, sweeping archway visually connects a separate guest house to the main structure, cleverly concealing parking areas and garages from view, maintaining the home’s sleek and uninterrupted aesthetic.
