Description About The Project

Prime House, designed by Raiz Arquitetura and located on the scenic Riviera de São Lourenço beach on the coast of São Paulo, embodies the ideal blend of modern design and natural surroundings. The rectangular layout, with the longest side parallel to the street, allowed for a free-flowing, pillar-free plan that opens up the ground floor to expansive social spaces. These spaces are fully integrated, with the kitchen, dining room, living room, and balcony all connected by large, frameless glass doors that offer uninterrupted views of the outdoors.

At the heart of the home is a striking pool, positioned to feel as if it extends into the living and balcony areas like a massive reflecting pool. This seamless design creates a spacious leisure area that faces the lush greenery of the surrounding landscape, emphasizing tranquility and relaxation.

The upper floor houses one guest suite at the front and four family suites at the rear, all oriented toward the Atlantic Forest, allowing the residents to wake up to serene views of nature and the morning sun. Thoughtful attention to natural lighting was a key aspect of the design, with strategically placed openings at both the top and bottom of the double-height entry hall, ensuring that the social spaces are flooded with natural light while maintaining privacy.

The home’s lighting and landscaping were carefully curated following the principles of Feng Shui, at the request of the client’s wife, creating a harmonious atmosphere of relaxation and contemplation. A prominent green wall on the front facade further enhances the home’s connection to nature, adding a distinctive element to the house’s identity.

Text by the Architects: Prime House, located on Riviera de São Lourenço beach, on the coast of São Paulo, was implemented in a rectangular shape with the largest face parallel to the street. The project is signed by the brazilian office Raiz Arquitetura, of architects and associates Alexandre Ferraz and Elias Souza, who have in their portfolio several high-end houses on the São Paulo coast.
