Description About The Project

ES Residence by Axial Studio is a striking example of modern tropical architecture, thoughtfully designed to adapt to Jakarta’s tropical climate. Situated on a generous 450m² plot in West Jakarta, this three-story residence incorporates natural materials like stone and wood, achieving a harmonious blend of modern elegance and tropical warmth.

The ground floor houses practical spaces, including a garage, service areas, and a fitness room. A carefully designed backyard on this level enhances cross ventilation and allows abundant natural light to permeate the home. Moving to the first floor, private living spaces such as the living and dining areas are arranged around an expansive open area featuring a swimming pool and terrace. This design not only maximizes natural light but also creates a seamless indoor-outdoor connection, offering picturesque views.

The top floor is dedicated to the private quarters of the family, including the master bedroom and children’s bedrooms, ensuring tranquility and comfort. Located within a residential cluster, the single-facing plot inspired the addition of a backyard and side yard, creating opportunities for cross ventilation and enriching the visual experience of the interiors. ES Residence exemplifies a thoughtful design approach that balances functionality, privacy, and a strong connection to the natural environment.
