Hollywood Style home named Hopen Place house designed by Whipple Russell Architects is a beautiful and luxurious project, located in the Hollywood Hills of California. The habitation covers a surface of 43,056 square feet and checks 4 rooms with wide glass dividers that offer a glimmering perspective of the Sunset Strip. And in addition a kitchen, lounge room, studio and five bathrooms with tubs. All spaces that permit access to outside territories (porch, greenhouse, yard and pools) through roof high glass sliders that open onto the metropolitan horizon.

The challenge was to create indoor and outdoor living experiences that retained unobstructed views to the horizon line and sky. Hence, the intent was to preserve the integrity of a mid-century classic. While rejuvenating the structure with our contemporary uses of color, wood, light, and water. Also, the aim was calm elegance and functionality, married with touches of 21st century whimsy, as seen in the choice of sculptured art.

On the other hand, jaw-dropping views of Los Angeles can be found from every angle of the hilltop home. While it doesn’t boast enough rooms for a large family, it does offer a screening room designed for an impressive movie – watching experience complete with a view into the swimming pool. Surely, this home is a truly dream home to enjoy the luxurious spaces and the spectacular views of Los Angeles.

Designed by Whipple Russell Architects, the sprawling 10,628 – square – foot main house feels even bigger than its stated square footage, thanks to an open floor plan and glass walls.

Water is fully integrated into the design, from the infinity pool and reflecting ponds. To the wet-edge waterfall along the walkway to the theater of this Hollywood Style house.

Retractable glass walls in the living room open directly onto a backyard patio so guests can flow in and out without hassle.

From the bedroom of this Hollywood Style house, it offers a very stunning views of outside.

Text by the Architects: The client wanted a complete remodel and update of a mid-century modern on the renowned Bird Streets in the Hollywood Hills. This new owner desired a bold, personally satisfying house, conducive to entertaining, Hollywood style, but also required excellent resale potential, as his intent was to sell within two years. His interest was in a residence that maximized the stunning views, while combining a sleekly modern aesthetic with an inventive and vibrant use of textures, colors, and materials.
