Architecture Design of Landscape House

Description About The Project

Landscape House designed by Ruth Packer Rona Levin Architects is an echo of the nature it faces. Indeed, the design of the house thoughtfully integrates indoor and outdoor spaces. Also, providing a perfect balance between comfort and appreciation of the breathtaking natural environment. The house’s entrance outdoor space is thoughtfully covered by an extended roof. Hence, create an intimate patio area at the front of the house. Upon entering the indoor entrance hall, the breathtaking view unfolds in all its magnificence, framed by a vast opening and the roof extending to the outdoor east patio. The garden is meticulously landscaped with carefully layered vegetation, blend seamlessly with the surroundings. Also, provide depth of view from the house.

The entrance hall serves as a junction in the L-shaped house plan, connecting the public and parents’ area on the South side with the kids’ bedrooms, family space, and study on the North side. This strategic location allows one to enjoy both the views to the east and the focal green view from the kitchen‘s far south window and the study’s north window. The public space to the right of the entrance hall features an alluring quadrangle shape, covered with a 2-sided slope ceiling made from light oak veneer.

The roof slope extends to the outdoors, create a shaded area to the East, perfect for dining and relaxation throughout the day. This main outdoor space offers a wider frame for the breathtaking view, with the sloping grass and pool appearing like a natural lake nestled between the house garden and the picturesque landscape. Both the roof design and ground treatment harmoniously blend the house with its beautiful surroundings.

The Landscape House Gallery:

Text by the Architects: The Landscape House sits on a unique lot in the center of Israel. It is 1,946 sqm in size lot and looks up to a wide-open view of shallow hills and agriculture fields. This rare situation and nature in the hurt of Israel gave us the main inspiration for creating this house. It is a one-floor house for a family of 4. Reaching the house from the street gives the visitors and family members a glimpse of the view they are about to be exposed to when entering the main entrance hall. It’s a journey one does from the street through a path planted with trees along the way into the entrance outdoor space. Creating a continuous and quiet walk into the house through the enclosed front garden, allowing time to enter and adjust to the peaceful oasis of what is about to come.
