Luxurious LuxMare houses, was designed by Mário Martins Atelier, is a pair of two holiday villas on a poetic landscape of Lagos, Portugal. The houses, named LuxMare Houses – and separately named Casa L and Casa M. The two houses are among the gardens and historic city, in 1970s. They to establish an emotional relationship with the Portuguese landscape and, in particular, with the people of the Algarve, with its cultural heritage, natural beauty, arts and gastronomy.

Situated on different plots that close to each other, each villas draw a different form that shapes itself according to the view and the landscape. In addition, it offers very luxurious living with high end finishes and smart amenities. The outside of luxurious LuxMare houses includes stunning views and wonderful outdoor living spaces including patio, pool, garden. Without a doubt, it is truly dream house with wonderful living room idea; dining room idea; kitchen idea; bedroom idea; bathroom idea; outdoor living idea; and other great ideas.

Luxurious LuxMare Houses On Poetic Landscape by Mário Martins Atelier — The two new houses includes two individual parts of a set, two autonomous pieces that complement one another, two separate continents, where the contours clearly show the previous coexistence, or the union of two different people or an evocation of love through architecture. Clearly, the slightly curved shapes suggest this connection, but the differences between them emphasize the individuality of each building.

The houses snuggle down into the landscape without drawing attention to themselves. Especially, the horizontal glazed frontages that provide a frame for the different views of the almost perfect symbiosis. It includes the surrounding greenery, the steep cliff, the wide-open sea and the sky.

Description: In southern Portugal’s algarve region, Mário Martins Atelier has completed a pair of residences designed as ‘two autonomous pieces that complement one another’. Referencing their coastal setting, the dwellings are known as the ‘lux mare’ houses — a term that translates as ‘light of the sea’. Indeed, the project comprises two homes: ‘casa lux’, which takes advantage of the light it receives as a result of its hilltop location; and ‘casa mare’, which is built on a lower level — completely surrounded by vegetation.
