Architecture Design of Taloel House
Description About The Project
Taloel House, a creation by Zozaya Arquitectos, beautifully embraces the challenge of optimizing space while offering a high level of comfort and efficiency. The house’s architectural program includes four bedrooms and various social spaces, and from its conceptual design. It prioritizes efficient land use and functionality.
Nestled in the warm and humid climate of the Pacific region, the house features a striking floating roof that extends gracefully to all sides, providing shelter and shade from the intense sunlight. Designed with careful consideration of the climate, the spaces incorporate well placed openings that encourage cross ventilation, contribute to the house’s bioclimatic design strategies.
The choice of materials plays a pivotal role in creating a harmonious aesthetic. Light colors dominate the palette, with ivory toned plaster walls taking center stage, complemented by warm brown accents found in the woodwork. This combination not only harmonizes with the lush natural landscape but also enhances its beauty. Taloel House stands as a testament to Zozaya Arquitectos’ ingenuity in design, seamlessly fusing efficiency, comfort, and environmental considerations. While respecting the local context and traditions of the Pacific region.

The Taloel House Gallery:
Text by the Architects: The challenge of the project was to design a house with an extensive architectural program of four bedrooms and various social spaces, offering a high level of comfort, with the fundamental premise of achieving high efficiency in land use. This was a determining factor from the conceptual design of the project, which set the tone and was reflected in the compact and efficient volumetrics of the two-level main house.
