Architecture Design of Umdloti Beach House

Description About The Project

Umdloti Beach House designed by Metropole Architects in collaboration with Lee Moon Interiors and Image Landscape Design, stands as a modern interpretation of the classic ‘beach house.’ Spanning three levels and facing the ocean, the residence seamlessly combines architectural innovation, interior aesthetics, and landscape design.

The main level, oriented towards the ocean, hosts an outdoor pool and entertaining areas, while the top floor is dedicated to the bedrooms. Upon entering the pool area, a covered veranda equipped with a BBQ, outdoor dining set, and lounge area welcomes residents and guests. As the sun sets, the pool comes to life with illuminating lights, creating an inviting atmosphere for nighttime swimming. Sliding panels offer protection from the elements, ensuring year-round enjoyment.

Inside the house, the kitchen boasts a long white and grey island beneath three glass pendant lights, suspended from a recessed ceiling with concealed lighting. Offering picturesque views of the expansive ocean, the kitchen seamlessly connects with the outdoor pool area.

The living room, adorned in soothing blues and soft yellows, features floor-to-ceiling windows in the corner and a recessed ceiling with hidden lighting, amplifying the room’s natural brightness. This thoughtful design brings the tones of the beach indoors.
