Architecture Design of Villa K
Description About The Project
Villa K, designed by Peter Todorov & Skyline Architekten, perched on a hillside within its private park, stands as a testament to architectural ingenuity for an art collector. The entrance unfolds as a piazzetta, guiding visitors along a stone path into a realm where high tech sophistication meets the warmth of natural materials.
A marvel of smart home technology, Villa K seamlessly integrates fine materials like exposed concrete, travertine, and wood. Originally hesitant about exposed concrete, the builders, over time, embraced its elegance, meticulously planning every detail in collaboration with the architect. The construction boasts a dual-shell design with exposed concrete both inside and outside, showcase meticulous craftsmanship with no visible formwork anchor holes.
Overall, villa K challenges the perception of exposed concrete, proving it can embody not only strength but also a refined elegance. A high tech smart home wrapped in noble materials, Villa K isn’t just a residence; it’s a sustainable masterpiece designed to endure the test of time. The true luxury of this villa lies not only in its material opulence. But in the expansive space it provides, create a harmonious blend of contemporary living and timeless design.

The windows, flush on the room side, elegantly frame the surroundings within concrete hides, a structurally complex yet visually stunning detail.

Concrete core activation adds to the home’s efficiency. The absence of parapets and window sills creates a sleek aesthetic, with only concrete surfaces and edges in view.

The Villa K Gallery:
Text by the Architects: Villa K sits on its own park on a hillside for an art collector. The entrance area is a piazzetta, open to the stone path High-tech smart home and fine natural materials in combination with exposed concrete travertine and wood. The builders initially didn’t want exposed concrete, but over time they became big self-service fans, and they planned everything in detail together with the architect. Concerning concrete: a consequent double-shell construction outside and inside exposed concrete, self-service walls with core insulation, surfaces ground inside, all self-service components of the highest quality, no visible formwork anchor holes, all closed in self service.
