Architecture Classic American Design of Hive House
Description About The Project
Classic American design of Hive house is an impressive project with an understated and minimalist architecture way. This impressive project located in Paradise Valley in the United States and has a whopping 5083ft² of living space. Indeed, all of which has been expertly decorated and positively overflowing with luxury and relaxing vibes. It is a reimagining of a classic American Ranch house, a once popular style of house that faded in the late 20th century, for modern living in a new build called ‘Hive House’ in Arizona.
Indeed, the attention to detail, as is the case with all of the builds from The Ranch Mine, is second to none and they’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that the space works perfectly for the clients. The Ranch Mine quickly realized that the goals of their clients aligned almost perfectly with the attributes of ranch houses, or ramblers, which debuted in the 1930s, reaching peak popularity in the midcentury. And were ultimately about sunshine and informal indoor/outdoor living. Besides, visually they were often characterized by their low, linear profile, asymmetrical courtyard plans, separated living and sleeping areas, vaulted main living areas, mixed exterior materials, and large glass doors to outdoor patios.
Once inside, stepping into the gabled living area, friends and family welcomed to views through the house past the poured in place concrete fireplace through pocketing glass doors to a covered patio, pool, hot tub, and sunken fire pit beyond. Also, on one side of the living area is a home office and on the other side is the kitchen, both of which are cross-ventilated with ample natural daylight.

The Classic American design – Hive House Gallery:
Text by the Architects: “We believe strongly in togetherness and the breaking of bread with our friends and family. We wish for lots of light, open space, and connection with the outdoors.” This response to a question that architecture firm The Ranch Mine asks every client before starting a project led down the unexpected path of reimagining the classic American design of Ranch house, a once popular style of house that faded in the late 20th century, for modern living in a new build called ‘Hive’ in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
