A Residence Designed Around Family and Tranquility
Nestled in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico, KG House is a thoughtfully designed residence by Gallardo Arquitectura, emphasizing family connections, relaxation, and fluid integration with nature. Spanning 750 m² on a 600 m² plot, this architectural masterpiece is centered around a serene pool and courtyard, creating a continuous visual and experiential connection throughout the home.
“The homeowners envisioned a space where family could gather, unwind, and share meaningful moments, with the pool as the heart of the home,” the architects shared with Luxury Houses Magazine.

A Seamless Flow Between Indoor and Outdoor Spaces
The architectural concept of KG House was driven by the desire to blur the boundaries between inside and outside. The strategic placement of large windows and open spaces ensures that nearly every corner of the home maintains a visual connection to the central patio and pool.
✔ Panoramic Views: Floor-to-ceiling windows frame breathtaking perspectives of the courtyard, pool, and natural landscape.
✔ Central Patio as the Focal Point: Designed as the soul of the house, the courtyard fosters harmony, relaxation, and a continuous interaction with nature.
✔ Open and Airy Layout: Expansive social areas seamlessly transition into outdoor spaces, allowing natural light and ventilation to permeate the interiors.

Material Palette: A Subtle Canvas for Nature
The design of KG House is rooted in neutrality, allowing nature and architectural elements to shine without distraction.
✔ Neutral Tones for a Timeless Aesthetic: The exterior and interior surfaces were kept in soft, muted tones, ensuring a calming and sophisticated ambiance.
✔ Integration of Natural Elements: The choice of raw materials such as wood, stone, and glass enhances the organic flow between built and natural environments.
✔ Preserving the Iconic Weeping Willow: A majestic weeping willow tree, predating the home’s construction, was carefully preserved, standing as a living testament to the thoughtful architectural planning.

An Intimate and Balanced Living Experience
Beyond its striking architectural presence, KG House is a home that celebrates both family and serenity. The harmonious composition of space, light, and materials fosters a unique balance between modern sophistication and warmth.
✔ A Gathering Space for Generations: Designed with family interaction in mind, the home encourages togetherness while offering moments of solitude.
✔ A Dialogue Between Architecture and Nature: By respecting the land’s natural elements, the residence creates an effortless synergy between built form and the environment.
✔ A Retreat That Feels Like Home: KG House is not just a residence—it’s a sanctuary that nurtures peace, well-being, and human connection.
