Description About The Project

The SSR Sombreiros House, designed by Gálvez & Márton Arquitetura, boasts an “L” shaped design within a countryside condominium in the São Paulo state. Indeed, positioned on a gently sloping terrain of around 3,000.00 m2, this single story house stands at a modest height of 3.0 meters and features expansive eaves that shield against harsh sunlight and rain.

In addition to this, the seamless integration of living and dining spaces with a covered balcony and gourmet area is achieved through sliding doors set within masonry. Result in spacious and airy interiors. The house’s structural framework comprises concrete for its foundation and metal profiles support prestressed concrete panels topped with a waterproof PVC blanket.

On the other hand, a corridor lined with floor to ceiling pivoting windows allows rhythmic lighting and natural ventilation. Also, emphasize a sense of connection with the outdoors. The layout incorporates relaxation spaces like a sauna and SPA room, offer views of the garden. The swimming pool, nestled on the side, creates room for an expansive central lawn. Clad in black volcanic stone, the pool mirrors the sky, exuding an enchanting ambiance. Besides, an open living space adjoin the pool and landscape is established by a cantilevered metal pergola, offer an ideal spot to relish the surroundings.
