Description About The Project

J house nestled within a corner plot, deftly tackles the challenge posed by its atypical site shape. Embracing a V-shaped layout, the design ingeniously maximizes available space while crafting an inviting internal courtyard at the heart of the residence. This central oasis, flanked by two wings, serves as the nucleus of social interaction, seamlessly connecting various living spaces through expansive glazed surfaces.

The innovative architectural approach extends beyond spatial considerations to encompass a thoughtful blend of construction methodologies. One wing showcases traditional wet construction techniques, boasting exposed brick and reinforced concrete, while its counterpart flaunts a contemporary dry construction system with a steel structure and sandwich panels. This juxtaposition not only underscores the versatility of each method but also contributes to the house’s distinct visual identity.

A meticulous exploration of materials further enriches J house’s aesthetic appeal, with textures, colors, and formats harmonizing to create a bespoke ambiance. Internally, a palette of whites accentuated by occasional nods to concrete and brick maintains a sense of cohesion, complemented by bespoke wooden furniture that enhances the overall warmth and character of the space.

Functionally, J House serves as a haven for family gatherings, offering a seamless flow between its social and private domains. As a testament to its architectural prowess, this single-story retreat not only optimizes its site’s constraints. But also elevates them into defining features, culminating in a residence that speaks its own distinctive language of design and construction.
