Architecture Design of Tune House

Description About The Project

Tune House designed by FB+MP Arquitetos Associados, stands as a testament to modern architectural innovation and environmental stewardship, nestled within the breathtaking landscape of the Araripe Plateau in the Cariri region of Ceará, Tune House Derived from the ancient Tupi word “ararype,” meaning “in the river of the macaws,” this residence harmonizes seamlessly with its natural surroundings.

Crafted with meticulous attention to both client desires and ecological sensitivity, Casa Tune boasts a design that blends modernity with sustainability principles. Elevated on pilotis to minimize environmental impact and capitalize on stunning vistas, the house embraces a contemporary aesthetic while preserving the scenic beauty of the plateau.

At its heart lies a commitment to preserving panoramic views of the cityscape, achieved through a combination of strategic architectural elements. A sprawling belvedere offers unobstructed vistas from the rooftop, inviting contemplation of the surrounding landscape. Inside, thoughtfully framed views create seamless connections between interior spaces and the outside world.

The interior layout reflects a blend of functionality and elegance, with a focal point being the expansive swimming pool stretching the length of the house. Elevated on pilotis with infinity edges, it epitomizes both luxury and environmental consciousness.

Innovative design elements, such as a helical staircase that doubles as a sculptural centerpiece, add a dynamic touch to the interior. Industrial materials like concrete blocks and metal profiles merge with glass panels, fostering a sense of natural integration while ensuring structural integrity.

Tune House stands as a beacon of architectural excellence, seamlessly integrating modern living with environmental harmony in the breathtaking landscape of the Araripe Plateau.

The Tune House Gallery:

Text by the Architects: Araripe derives from the ancient Tupi word “ararype,” which means “in the river of the macaws.” Located in the Cariri region of Ceará, Casa Tune specifically emerges in the Araripe Plateau, a rich area that houses an important paleontological site and an extensive protected national forest, in addition to its numerous water springs.
