Description About The Project

Bridge House designed by ArchLAB studio, nestled amidst serene pine forests and a tranquil waterway, is a stunning modern home that harmonizes architecture with its natural surroundings. The unique site, divided by a flowing creek, inspired the architects to design a house that seamlessly integrates with its environment while addressing the challenge of unifying the divided land.

The design consists of two main volumes: the primary residence for the owners and a separate guest house. These structures are linked by an open-air bridge, serving as the architectural centerpiece and visual axis of the home. Thoughtfully preserved trees rise through the roofline, further embedding the house within the landscape.

Expansive windows dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces, filling the home with natural light and fostering a tranquil ambiance. Wooden terraces and an open fireplace invite relaxation, offering picturesque views and the soothing sound of flowing water. Complemented by subtle landscaping, the clean modern lines of the white facade are beautifully accentuated by the lush greenery. Bridge House embodies a perfect balance of contemporary design and nature’s serenity.

Text by the Architects: Expressive modern style house is designed in a lot surrounded by nature. Pine forests are on two sides of the lot. It was clients desire to find such an oasis in nature with a small river or creek, what became a specific task for Architects, because the flowing water divided the land into two parts.
