Architecture Design of Casa Calantha
Description About The Project
Casa Calantha designed by Di Frenna Arquitectos nestled within a lush landscape dominated by a majestic Parota tree, harmonizes architecture and nature, creating a sanctuary of serenity and connection. This thoughtfully designed residence aligns with its natural surroundings, framing views that celebrate the rhythms of the environment and allowing light, air, and life to permeate its spaces.
The house’s linear layout emphasizes seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor areas, with every room oriented toward the greenery and shade of the Parota tree. The design is a poetic response to the client’s desire for a home that fosters intimate family moments while also serving as a welcoming space for social gatherings.
Entering through a double-height foyer, one is greeted by an atmosphere of understated elegance. The ground floor balances private and social areas, with the master bedroom and guest suite opening to intimate gardens, and shared spaces like the living and dining rooms flowing naturally onto a terrace. The breakfast nook and kitchen also extend into outdoor areas, offering tranquil corners to enjoy the first rays of sunlight.
The upper floor serves as a retreat for guests, featuring well-appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, dressing rooms, and a terrace that enhances the sense of hospitality.
Natural materials like stone, wood, and built-in furnishings integrate seamlessly with the environment, creating a tactile connection to the surrounding landscape. Warm, neutral tones and carefully selected finishes mirror the textures and hues of nature, bringing the outdoors into every corner of the home.

The Casa Calantha Gallery:
Text by the Architects: In the middle of a landscape where nature claims its prominence, an architectural project rises meeting not only the needs of its inhabitant but also engaging in a serene and contemplative dialogue with its surroundings. The land, with its majestic Parota tree standing as a sentinel, becomes the canvas where architecture draws spaces that go beyond the ordinary to become spaces where life is fully lived.
