Architecture Design of Namly View House
Description About The Project
Namly View House designed by by Wallflower Architecture + Design, a distinctive pair of residences nestled in an exclusive Singaporean neighborhood, redefines contemporary living with a perfect blend of minimalism, functionality, and a deep connection to nature. Situated on high ground, the site is enveloped by lush greenery, providing a serene backdrop to the architectural masterpiece.
The houses, strategically positioned towards the center of the lot, create a natural buffer between the private living spaces and external elements such as the road and neighboring houses. Upon arrival, occupants are greeted by a sunken swimming pool, emanating a sense of tranquility and setting the tone for the unique experience that lies within.
The design revolves around the concept of a raised plateau with multiple terraces, maximizing the steep topography of the site. A commitment to minimalism and meticulous attention to detail infuse each corridor with a sense of casual purity. As visitors traverse the space, luminous openings gradually reveal a more extensive and intricate residence than initially perceived.
The façade of Namly View House challenges traditional norms by incorporating a design that peels elements off the building’s face, offering new spatial definitions and aesthetic expressions. A ribbon of timber sunscreen gracefully runs along the perimeter, adding emphasis to the large middle floor. This rhythmic play of concealing and revealing responds to the dynamic demands of privacy, light, and views.
