Architecture Design of AP House

Description About The Project

AP House designed by Patricia Bergantin, set on a sloping terrain. This house stands out with its straight lines. Also, creates a striking contrast with the surrounding countryside while framing picturesque views. Also, the architecture is purposefully designed to provide a sanctuary, starting with its “L” layout that directs openings towards the expansive lot. This design approach ensures the residents’ privacy and maximizes the captivating landscape views.

Upon entering the first floor, a spacious hall welcomes visitors and leads to the private areas featuring six suites, as well as the common spaces on the ground floor. The seamless connection between the interior and exterior is achieved through the use of floor to ceiling windows and wooden slat frames, arranged in an artistic pattern that serves as sunshades on the facade

On the lower level, the living room opens up to nature, create a reception area on the ground floor with a double height ceiling that enhances the sense of spaciousness and integration with the outdoor surroundings. The design cleverly reflects the natural clearings in the forest. In another wing of the house, gourmet spaces with an external kitchen and a leisure terrace are thoughtfully arranged. Seamlessly connecting to the expansive garden, pool, and external fireplace, fostering a strong connection with the surrounding landscape. In addition to this, the interior design embraces a rustic aesthetic, employing fluid layouts and a natural color palette to create an immersive and inviting atmosphere.

The use of wood imbues the space with warmth and a sense of comfort, contrasting with the human-made concrete elements, which contribute to a feeling of lightness. Marble is also utilized to evoke a sense of history and the passage of time.
