Description About The Project

Bir Residence, designed by SDH Studio Architecture + Design, is a stunning single-story home that masterfully integrates modern design with its natural surroundings. Divided into three distinct volumes, the home’s layout is both functional and elegant, creating a seamless flow between social and private spaces.

At the heart of the residence is the main living and social space, a central volume that is flanked by two lower volumes housing the family’s private quarters and a two-car garage. The front elevation features gently sloping planes that appear to float gracefully above the walls, thanks to the strategic use of fenestration between the roof and the structure below. This design element adds a sense of lightness and sophistication to the home’s exterior.

The roof’s incline at the rear of the house opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the lake, making the most of the serene setting. The design takes full advantage of the site’s natural topography, with a carefully planned landing zone that connects the waterfront to the pool area, creating a clear boundary between the lake and the outdoor social spaces. The tiered terraces that descend towards the lake offer an ideal space for entertaining and relaxation, blending indoor and outdoor living in perfect harmony.
