Architecture Design of Fish House
Description About The Project
Fish House designed by Guz Architects, nestled amidst the lush tropical setting of Singapore, redefines tropical living, seamlessly blending luxury with a deep connection to nature. This tropical abode is a testament to the artful integration of architecture with the natural environment, addressing the challenges of Singapore’s warm climate through innovative design. The focal point of the house is a serpentine swimming pool, skillfully linking the residence to the surrounding landscape and providing captivating vistas of the nearby ocean.
The central design ethos revolves around establishing an intimate relationship with nature. The lower level boasts a media room with a distinctive U-shaped acrylic window, welcoming gentle natural light and offering enchanting underwater views of the pool. The curvilinear roofs, resembling ocean waves, not only pay homage to the nearby sea. But also serve a dual purpose. Adorned with flexible photovoltaic panels, these roofs harness solar energy to power the house. While the remaining expanse transforms into a verdant green roof, provide outdoor leisure spaces for the residents.
Fish House stands as a testament to the delicate balance achieved between opulence and environmental consciousness. Its design philosophy encourages residents to coexist harmoniously with nature, providing a sanctuary where luxury meets the gentle embrace of the natural world.
