Architecture Design of Treetops House

Description About The Project

Treetops House, skillfully designed by OB Architecture, finds its place within a steeply sloping site surrounded by majestic pine trees. This modern residence harmoniously combines contemporary aesthetics with traditional elements. Also, offering remarkable entertainment spaces alongside a warm and inviting retreat for its inhabitants.

The architectural design thoughtfully embraces the site’s extraordinary topography, result in a rear section characterized by tiered terraces, louvers, and balconies that gracefully extend into the treetops. This layering of elevations adds a sense of depth and liveliness. While the use of buff brick and rich iroko timber on the façade allows the structure to seamlessly blend into its untamed natural surroundings.

Upon entering the house, one is greeted by a range of diverse spaces catering to various needs. The expansive kitchen, dining, and entertaining area captivate with double height glazing that draws the gaze towards panoramic woodland views. Meanwhile, sunken lounges and a meditation room and study, clad in timber, offer cozy and intimate retreats. The design successfully maintains a strong connection with the outdoors, a key aspect of the design brief.

The upper-level bedrooms, nestled beneath a floating roof canopy, offer breathtaking outlooks, while the spa area opens up onto a rear terrace that seamlessly connects with the swimming pool and tennis court located further beyond. Treetops House masterfully combines the beauty of its natural surroundings with exquisite architectural craftsmanship, creating a residence that is both harmonious and captivating.
