Description About The Project

Moderne Tropische Villa designed by STATE of Architecture, is a luxurious holiday home that perfectly balances privacy and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. Nestled on a site that required careful spatial planning to shield it from the neighboring villa, this residence embraces modernist principles with its striking cubistic design.

The villa comprises three geometric volumes, strategically arranged to open the main living areas and master bedroom to the outdoor living spaces and pool. Expansive glass facades and large sliding doors are key architectural features, seamlessly connecting the interior to the exterior, creating an impression of floating structures and blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The lower level houses five beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests. A private beach volleyball court adds a unique recreational dimension, offering a blend of relaxation and activity in a stunning tropical setting.

By integrating natural elements, a fluid spatial design, and innovative architecture, Moderne Tropische Villa delivers a luxurious and harmonious Caribbean retreat that redefines the holiday experience.

Text by the Architects: Creating a villa that optimizes the views over the Caribbean sea, without sacrificing privacy from the neighboring villa located directly behind this holiday home was the starting point for this concept. The villa consists of three cubistic shapes, opening up the main living areas and master bedroom to the outside living areas and pool. One of the main features of this villa are the glass facades connecting seamlessly, making the main volumes seem to float. Below 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are situated. A private beach volleyball court completes this astonishing villa.
