Architecture Design of Boa Vista VIII Residence
Description About The Project
Boa Vista VIII Residence, crafted as a haven for family summers, this architectural project draws inspiration from the picturesque views of the lake and the enchanting sunset. The entrance hall, distinguished by its vibrant orange-ocher hue, serves as a focal point amidst the white volumes, creating a harmonious union. Marking its purpose through color, the entrance hall takes shape in the form of two intersecting rectangles, directing flows towards the larger block.
Responding to the client’s desire for a space to showcase their extensive art collections, the larger pavilion unfolds into a spacious social area that not only encourages interaction but also accommodates the residents’ artistic aspirations. Progressing towards the bedrooms, the ambiance transforms into a gallery, providing a reserved space for contemplation and relaxation.
Crowning these nuanced design elements is a wooden-covered slab supported by metal pillars. Distanced from the other volumes, it exudes an airy and independent character, create a sense of lightness and movement through its subtly bulging sides. This lakeside retreat combines functional design with artistic expression, offer a serene and dynamic environment for the family’s summer escapades.

The Boa Vista VIII Residence Gallery:
Text by the Architects: Designed to be a family summer home, the project inspires itself with the view of the lake and the sunset. An entrance hall highlighted by its orange-ocher coloring stands out among the white volumes and unites them. Showing its function through its color, it forms an implantation of two perpendicular rectangles. As it is also a circulation space, it immediately directs flows to the larger block, destined for the social and intimate area or, if preferable, the volume that holds the leisure spaces.
