Architecture Design of Moradia JD2
Description About The Project
Moradia JD2 nestled along picturesque Aveiro estuary in Portugal, stands as a testament to modern coastal living. Designed by Rui Rosmaninho, this beach house offers a perfect blend of aesthetic excellence, minimalism, and contemporary design, catering to the client’s quest for a sophisticated lifestyle.
Influenced by the sun’s play, natural light, and the breathtaking landscape, the architectural choices echo the coastal surroundings. Concrete, Corten steel, and ceramic exteriors not only embody low-maintenance elegance but also pay homage to traditional “palheiros” with a contemporary twist. The extensive use of ceramics pays homage to the owner’s background in the ceramic industry, adding a personal touch to the design.
The interior narrative unfolds with a focus on comfort and relaxation. Whites, beiges, and light woods dominate the palette, while rough wood elements infuse a sense of organic charm. The interior seamlessly merges with the exterior through materials mirroring the outside, enhancing the panoramic views framed by expansive windows. Deliberately designed for hosting family and friends, the house boasts custom designed furniture for enhanced functionality.
Moradia JD2 is more than a residence; it’s a collaborative masterpiece where architecture and interior design intertwine to provide a tranquil haven for the family – a symphony of coastal elegance and contemporary comfort.
