Architecture Design of EcoBreeze House
Description About The Project
EcoBreeze House stands as a unique project in the bustling heart of Ho Chi Minh City, where spacious designs are rare. A+ Architects seized this opportunity to create a home deeply intertwined with Vietnam’s natural climate and environment, allowing the house to “breathe” and offer an intimate living space connected to nature.
Departing from conventional materials, the homeowners opted for a steel structure over traditional reinforced concrete, complemented by extensive wood use, achieving a harmonious blend with nature. Feng shui principles also play a crucial role, exemplified by the strategically positioned kitchen, tilted 45 degrees and without any overhead spaces.
A significant innovation is the “Double Skin Facade” – a thermal wood louver system paired with an inner sliding glass, all supported by a sturdy steel frame. This dual-layered approach addresses sunlight and wind, enhancing the home’s “breathable” nature while adhering to feng shui.
Each area in EcoBreeze House tells a story, including the first-floor corridor with its warm wooden flooring. This corridor connects the bedrooms and shared living spaces, enabling communication through the void space even at rest.
A+ Architects aimed to encapsulate the essence of Vietnamese culture and climate, dissolving the separation between inhabitants and nature. Children can play freely within a house that reflects the natural world, contributing to the distinctiveness of EcoBreeze House.

The EcoBreeze House Gallery:
Text by the Architects: EcoBreeze House is a rare project with a relatively large design area, located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City where houses are often closely built together. With this advantage, the design team aims to create a house that is closely connected to the nature and climate of Vietnam. Here, the house itself can “breathe”, creating a living space that is intimate with the surrounding environment.
