Architecture Design of MCHU Villa

Description About The Project

MCHU Villa, designed by MAS Architecture, situated in a serene new urban area along the picturesque Da Nang River, offers a contemporary living space tailored for multigenerational family life. With a 300m² plot accessed from the west, the villa leverages its unique position, which opens to expansive views at the rear, to create a harmonious connection between privacy, nature, and family interaction.

The design centers around the owner’s vision of a fully comfortable home that fosters connections among family members across generations. By elevating the main living spaces to the second floor, the architecture optimizes the relationship with the rear landscape while minimizing exposure to west-facing noise and sunlight. This thoughtful layout ensures privacy and tranquility while integrating green spaces that breathe life into the home.

The villa is composed of separate yet interconnected architectural blocks, linked by open corridors that allow for seamless movement and natural ventilation. A network of green layers—featuring lush trees, water elements, and open spaces—enhances the connection between family members and the surrounding nature.

At the heart of the home, the kitchen on the second floor acts as the focal point of family activities. It is strategically positioned to overlook key spaces such as the swimming pool, living room, mezzanines, and circulation areas, fostering a sense of togetherness. Meanwhile, private bedrooms on the third floor are designed with large loggias and expansive views, offering a peaceful retreat while maintaining a visual connection to the central spaces.

The villa’s exterior employs a combination of aluminum louvers and exposed concrete walls, creating a sophisticated facade that balances sunlight, natural ventilation, and privacy. This minimalist yet functional approach aligns with the design philosophy of cultivating a personalized and inward-focused lifestyle—offering a sanctuary for balanced living amidst the growing density of urban areas.
