Architecture Design of House Prada
Description About The Project
House Prada, located in Mexico, designed by Jorge Hernández de la Garza. The house consists of three levels built with concrete walls, metal beams, stone, glass, and wood to create a feeling of spaciousness and connection to nature. The design was focused on providing comfort to the main user, who played a significant role in creating the architectural program.
The house structured on one level, which includes all the primary social areas, such as the living room, dining room, kitchen, open terrace, and pool. As well as the private area for the master bedroom, which includes a dressing room and bathroom. The guest rooms located on the lower level, with additional amenities such as a gym, spa, and service areas, along with parking on another level.
On the other hand, the entrance to the house is through a floating staircase that leads to the main hall. The vestibule is an essential part of the house since it connects different areas both horizontally and vertically. The living room, dining room, kitchen, open terrace, and pool are all part of the social area. The glass bridge connects the private area to the master bedroom, which has a dressing room and bathroom. The vehicular access is located on street level, with the service room, machine rooms, and direct vertical circulation to the lobby. Finally, a more intimate lobby below street level leads to the guest rooms, gym, study, and spa. Overall, House Prada is a beautiful and comfortable place that offers a sense of space and connection to nature.

The House Prada Gallery:
Text by the Architects: House Prada located on land adjacent to a golf course facing the Amazcala Valley within the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro. One of the first lines of the design was the use of the views offered by the environment and the other is the importance of the social areas as a main part of the architectural program for the development of the project. House Prada is formed in stages, locating the social area on the upper floor to have a clear view of the valley and the golf course from most of its spaces. Also, it developed in a staggered manner due to the natural slopes of the land. So that the circulation within the spaces works with internal vertical circulations. Also, connect the social areas and the private areas.
